Under the Rose Arch

The Evil Little Vamp
Tonight I will be dancing
With an evil little vamp
An evil little vamp
Who wants me as her lover
She’s a creature of the night
Always dressed in black
She dwells in the shadows
Avoiding to be seen
Not seen by anyone but me
She’s faster than a wolf
She’s stronger than a bull
But she would never hurt me
‘Cause I’m the one she loves
She knows a lot of things
For she has lived a thousand years
She has seen a lot of things
That I will never see
We can sit around and talk
In some alley in the dark
With the spirits of the night
For hours at an end
And you would never believe
What those ghosts don’t live to tell
We use to play around
Roam from street to street
Looking for the lucky ones
And have a little drink
Slit the heads of the establishment
Suck our teeth into their brains
And have the succulent juice
For we are the ones who prey
On those who think they are on top
Your blood is our wine
And then when we are drunk
We dance in your blood
That flows on the street
Glittering and sparkling
In the moonlight
And by the morning she is gone
For she’s sleeping all day long
My dark vampire girl
And I’m left there in the alley
Covered in blood
Shedding a tear for being lonely
Longing for the night to come
For tonight I will be dancing
With an evil little vamp
An evil little vamp
Who wants me as her lover
So if you hold your life dear
Be careful in the night
Never trust an evil vamp
It could cost you your life
And tonight I will be dancing
With an evil little vamp
An evil little vamp
Who wants me as her lover
